Vietnamese Fried Chicken (Gluten Free)

  1. 3 chicken drumsticks

  2. Marinade—

  3. 1/2 tsp salt

  4. 1 tsp pepper powder

  5. 4 tbsp corn flour

  6. 1 egg

  7. Sauce—

  8. 2 red chilies (minced)

  9. 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  10. 1 tsp fish sauce

  11. 1 tbsp GF soya sauce

  12. 3 tbsp lime juice

  13. 3 tbsp sugar

  14. 1 tsp salt

  15. 1/2 cup water


  1. Mix the chicken with marinade and set aside for about an hour.

  2. Deep fry drumsticks in hot oil till cooked.

  3. Once chicken has turned brown, dish it out and use fork to poke in a few places.

  4. Turn the pot on higher heat, put the chicken in again for second fry. Make sure the chicken is well cooked. Dish it out and cut into smaller slices and serve.
