  1. 8 slice bacon

  2. 8 gluten-free pork sausages

  3. 1 tbsp oil

  4. 2 red apples, cut into wedges


  1. Preheat the oven to gas 7 / 220C / 450°F

  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan

  3. Wrap a slice of bacon around each sausage and brown off in the pan

  4. Transfer the sausages to a roasting tin and put in the oven for 20 minutes, turning once halfway though. If your pan is ovenproof, just use that instead of dirtying a tin

  5. Add the apple wedges to the tin and roast a further 10 minutes until the apples are caramelized and the sausages are cooked through
