450 grams gluten-free / plain flour – see my flour mix below

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp xanthan gum if using gluten-free flour

1 tsp garlic powder

3/4 tsp low-sodium salt

1 tsp dried oregano
-
1 tsp dried basil
-
1 pinch chilli powder
-
360 ml sparkling (carbonated) water

2 tbsp olive oil
-
2 tbsp maple syrup
Steps

Preheat the oven to gas 7 / 210C / 425°F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper

Mix the flour, baking powder, xanthan gum if using, salt, herbs and spices together well in a bowl
