Not remotely seasonal but I’ve just been craving this pud ever since Gillie shared her version a month or so ago. My version is #…more
6 very ripe plums
4 small dessert apples
80 g ground almonds
60 g gf flour
60 g dairy free marg
100 g sugar
Cinnamon for a final sprinkle
Peel and core the apples, then cut into chunks. Cut the plums into similar sized chunks. Put the fruit in a heatproof dish or bowl. My plums were so ripe they didn’t need any extra sugar at this stage.
In a separate bowl rub the flours sugar and almonds together. Once rubbed in I use my hands to crunch up the mix into larger balls similar to regular crumble.
Cover the fruit with the crumble mix and sprinkle the topping with cinnamon. Bake for 30 mins at 190 C.
I believe that these spaces; our homes and habitats, deserve care and attention. We know design has the power to transform a space but these spaces, once designed with the care and attention to detail which reflects you, have the power to transform our lives.
